BIOGRAPHY
Charlotte May-Simera is a research assistant at the Centre for Disability Law and Policy. She joined the Centre in 2012, and works primarily on the European Yearbook of Disability Law, while also assisting on the ANED project (Academic Network of European Disability experts).
Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Honors degree in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Exeter and a Masters in Comparative European Social Studies from the Zuyd Hogeschool, Maastricht and The London Metropolitan University. In 2010, Charlotte undertook a traineeship in the European Commission, working in the Cabinet of Commissioner Ándor (Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion). Before coming to Galway Charlotte worked as a communications assistant at the European Disability Forum in Brussels. Charlotte is currently enrolled in the Masters in International and Comparative Disability Law and Policy.
