Honorary Fellow - PhD in Italian and European Constitutional Law at the University of Verona
Delia Ferri graduated in Law magna cum laude in 2003 at the University of Verona Faculty of Law. Her LLB thesis was awarded the “Premio Dugoni 2003”. In 2006, Delia Ferri earned a Diploma in EU Legal Practice at the Central European University of Budapest.
In 2007, she obtained a Ph.D in European and Italian Constitutional Law at the University of Verona with excellent results. In 2009, Delia Ferri’s doctoral thesis was awarded the national prize “Premio Ettore Gallo 2008”, under the under the High Patronage of the Presidency of the Italian Republic. In 2008 (April-June), she was Post-Doctoral Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute (Florence, Italy). In 2009/2010 she was Consultant-EU law researcher for the European Foundation Center (Brussels), contributing to the Study on challenges and good practices in the implementation of the UN Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities, executed by the EFC for the European Commission.
Currently, Delia Ferri is registered attorney at law (Verona Bar) and of counsel for a law firm in Verona. She also works as a legal adviser providing consultancy in the field of EU law within relevant applied research projects in Italy and abroad. Delia is Cultore della materia (Honorary Research Fellow) in Comparative Public Law at the Faculty of Languages and Literatures of the University of Verona and at the Faculty of Law of the University of Verona. Since February 2012 she is teaching assistant in EU law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento.
