Accommodation

Participants are advised that they are responsible for their own accommodation.

In order to assist participants – and particularly those unfamiliar with Galway – accommodation has been provisionally reserved for participants in the Carlton Hotel. Favourable rates have been arranged.

It is important that participants please highlight their needs if they have a disability when making their booking. Please note that it is the responsibility of each participant to determine for him/herself whether the accommodation meets their specific needs and requirements.

Rates

Favourable rates, including Bed and Breakfast and use of the on site leisure facilities, have been arranged for nightly and weekly rates as follows:

€65 BB per night Single Occupancy

€45 pp BB per night – Twin / Double Occupancy (based on 2 sharing)

€59 Room Only (maximum occupancy 2 persons per room, and excluding breakfast). If you avail of this option, breakfast is available at €13.50 per person per morning per person.

Booking early is advisable.

Transport from Carlton Hotel to Summer School venue at the National University of Ireland, Galway:

There is a local bus service that stops outside the Carlton and travels to the College. More information to follow.
Accessible transport can be organised from the Hotel to the Summer School venue every morning and evening.
