An Teanglann – Language Laboratories

An Teanglann, as part of CELT, primarily supports the teaching and learning of modern languages in NUI Galway; specifically French, German, Italian and Spanish. To achieve this, we have recently completed the installation and upgrade of two multimedia language learning laboratories. In addition, we also support an analogue language laboratory.

To further support the creation and development of multimedia based learning materials, we recently upgraded An Teanglann’s recording studio to an audio and video broadcast quality standard.

The Self Study Room, AM123, has been upgraded and we now have two new PCs installed. These PCs have all the same language applications as our Multimedia Labs and we hope they're of benefit to language staff and students who wish to use the applications outside of designated lab time.
