Decluttering the Curriculum

In this session, we will reflect on the challenge of shaping and managing programmes in contemporary higher education and how we might clear away the bureaucratic clutter that institutions and schools often self-generate and make a return to the primacy of learning and thinking. What are the issues, what are the opportunities and how might we re-engage learners and teachers in the spirit of enquiry that is often claimed to be the hallmark of a higher education? Answers will no doubt flow smoothly from the floor!
