Generic Competencies Workshop II

Integrating Generic Competencies into your Curriculum    

Parallel Session (B)

This session will focus on the question of how generic competencies could be embedded in Ireland.  There will be a presentation of the results of a national survey of staff and students in the 38 Higher Education Institutes and associated employers on their perceptions of the importance of equipping students with various competencies 

The audience will then be invited to discuss the embedding, teaching and assessing of a particular competence within smaller groups.  A large group discussion will close the workshop.
