CELT was pleased to invite applications for support in 2012 under the National Digital Learning Resources (NDLR) Programme for Learning Innovation Projects (LIP). The purpose of the initiative is to support staff in the development and sharing of digital teaching and learning resources, and to research and evaluate their use.
The Call for Proposals was open to all staff within NUI Galway and the scheme focuses on providing small grants to NUIG staff members to facilitate the development of digital learning resources. All learning resources produced through the scheme will be deposited to the NDLR repository and made available under a creative commons licence through the NDLR portal.

The NDLR is a HEA funded service between Irish Universities and the Institutes of Technology to support the collaboration and sharing of learning and teaching resources. The NDLR enables development and sharing of digital learning resources between the seven Universities of Ireland, Dublin Institute of Technology and the thirteen Institutes of Technology. The NDLR is a free and open online community of resources designed primarily for faculty of higher education in Ireland to share their learning materials.
