We are based in the wonderful west coast of Ireland in Galway in the

National University of Ireland, Galway.  We are part of the school of Chemistry

Our research interests include

• Asymmetric Synthesis particularly using transition metal catalysts. 
• The design of new ligands to be used in asymmetric catalysis. 
• Catalyst immobilisation and recycling

 

We apply our catalysis study to the

• Synthesis of bioactive compounds
• Synthesis of natural products

 

We have received funding from the agencies opposite to whom we are very grateful.
