Institute of Chemistry of Ireland Annual Congress 2010
High Performance Computing at the Chemistry/Biochemistry Interface
School of Chemistry, NUI, Galway
Friday May 21st, 2010
Computational modelling is becoming increasingly important in a wide range of industrial sectors, including the pharmaceutical and biomedical areas. New techniques, coupled to developments in computational architecture and algorithms, facilitate drug design, studies of protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions, and the development of new biomaterials. In this symposium, a range of leading international and Irish-based researchers present recent work relating to the interface between chemistry and biochemistry
