Computational modelling is becoming increasingly important in a wide range of industrial sectors, including the pharmaceutical and biomedical areas.  New techniques, coupled to developments in computational architecture and algorithms, facilitate drug design, studies of protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions, and the development of new biomaterials.  In this symposium, a range of leading international and Irish-based researchers present recent work relating to the interface between chemistry and biochemistry
