Personal Profile

Grace Walsh joined Whitaker Institute as a recipient of a PhD fellowship in 2008. Under the supervision of Dr. James Cunningham her PhD research examines the complex nature of small business closure. The exploratory study focuses, in particular, on the management approaches at play throughout the process of firm collapse. This research is building on her previous MBS thesis in Corporate Strategy and People Management from NUI Galway. This was preceded by a B.Comm degree, with a Marketing specialization, also at NUI Galway.
