Dr Paulina Ramirez B.Sc. Ph.D paulina.ramireznuigalway.ie

Dr Paulina Ramirez completed her PhD at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). She also holds a BSc in Economics from University College London. Dr Ramirez's PhD thesis examines the extent and nature of the process of globalisation of innovation amongst leading European and US pharmaceutical multinationals. In 1999-2002 Dr Ramirez worked as research associate at the University of Sheffield on a European TSER project examining the relationship between corporate governance and product innovation. In 2002-May 2003, she worked as research associate at UMIST on a project funded by the Anglo-German Foundation comparing the development of high-tech business services in the UK and Germany.
