Research interests:
Social dynamics in information system projects, Knowledge sharing in teams, Decision support, Interoperability, Interorganisational information systems, Computer supported collaborative work, ICT assisted living, ICT assisted process improvement.
Raija Halonen is a Research Associate in the CISC. Prior to that, she acted as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the CISC. Currently, her main location is the Department of Information Processing Science, University of Oulu, where she acts as a researcher and teacher.
In addition, she holds positions of an Adjunct Professor, Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, University of Jyväskylä, Finland and of a Visiting Associate Professor (hostujúci docent), Vysoka Skola Manazmentu, Trencin, Slovakia, University of Seattle Programs.
Before entering to academia, she acted as a designer and consultant in the private and public sector for several years.
