Satyasiba Das graduated with B.Sc. honours with distinction in Geography from Ravenshaw Collage, India. He was the recipient of first class first gold medal for 1999 for his outstanding performance in Utkal University, India during M.Sc and has specialization in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System. He further pursued his study at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim and has received M.Phil degree in Development Studies in 2001. From January 2004 to June 2007 he was working as a researcher at SINTEF – Technology and Society, Trondheim, Norway. His PhD focus on Co-locative factors that influence the regional innovation capacity and application of advance geo-statistics and spatial econometrics models to capture spillovers of externalities. He is formally collaborated with Institute for Studies in Innovation Research and Education (NIFUSTEP), Oslo, Norway.
