Ultan Sharkey is a PhD student at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics, National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland. His doctoral research interests lie in decision support systems for electronic commerce and open-source information systems. His primary degree, Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies was granted from the National University of Ireland, University College Dublin. His master’s degree, Master of Business Studies (Electronic Commerce) was granted from the National University of Ireland, Galway. His work has been published in the European Conference on Information Systems and the International Journal of E-business research (forthcoming). Ultan currently lectures in Information Systems at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
