Professor Willie Golden is the Dean of the College of Business, Public Policy and Law at NUI Galway. He completed his doctorate on B2B Electronic Commerce at the University of Warwick, England, and has been a lecturer in Business Information Systems at NUI Galway since 1992. From 2006-2008, Professor Golden was Director of the Centre for Innovation and Structural Change (CISC) at the University. As Director, he led a team of researchers which secured € 6 million of funding for social science research at NUI Galway. He has published and presented extensively, co-authored a book, contributed 10 chapters to other texts and published 17 journal papers in the areas of Electronic Commerce and Information Systems, in among others, Omega, The International Journal of Management Science, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of End User Computing and Journal of Decision Systems.
