This will be a participant-led session where you will have the opportunity to discuss questions you may have about publishing from your PhD. There is no set agenda or presentation, rather the session is intended to focus on your experiences and understanding of the publication process. It is intended to be an informal session with some frank and honest insights from Dr Dick's experience as an editor, reviewer, author and PhD supervisor.
Penny Dick (BA, MSc, PhD, C.Psychol.) is a Reader in Critical Organizational Psychology at Sheffield University Management School. Her work is characterised by a social constructionist and discursive approach which she has applied to areas such as family friendly practices, the diffusion of HR practices across MNCs, and occupational identity, power and resistance. She has published in journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Management Studies, Work, Employment & Society, Human Relations and the Journal of Occupational & Organizational Psychology.
