This workshop is aimed at CIMA members interested in managing or supporting innovation, either as part of the finance unit or as a leader of other business units such as R&D, operations, sales, commercial, and marketing.
Participants will learn about the following:
• Role of management controls at different stages of the innovation process
• Balancing creativity and efficiency in the innovation process
• Role of belief systems, strategy and boundaries in innovation
• Using feedback and measurement systems in innovation
The session will be interactive and will present opportunities to question assumptions, share experiences and discuss challenges for managing innovation.
