MBS in Industrial Relations & Human Resource Management
The objective of the MBS in Industrial Relations and Human Resource
Management is to develop a critical and applied approach to people
management. In particular, the programme will provide students with:
. a thorough knowledge and applied competence in the fundamentals of
industrial relations and human resource management, and their
interfaces;
. a critical understanding of the theoretical principles underpinning IR & HRM;
. an ability to analyse the social, economic and political factors that influence the way people are managed;
. a critical knowledge base in the specialist fields of organisational
development and change management; employee relations, human resource
consultancy, employment law, reward, and training, innovation and
learning;
. the skills to prepare a dissertation, and produce valid conclusions in both written format and oral presentations.
