PS324 Professional Skills and Ethical Issues 1
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Denominated
This course assists students in identifying personal abilities and
needs for their future career choices. It teaches skills in
psychological testing and in writing professional reports, and also
provides insights into the organisation of group work and group
dynamics. This course also introduces students to the ethical and legal
issues that psychologists encounter in their research and professional
work, playing close attention to codes of professional ethics.
PS326 Professional Skill and Ethical Issues 2
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Denominated
This course focuses on acquiring and practicing interviewing skills,
both as an interviewer and interviewee, in both clinical and
occupational settings. Practical experience of group work will be
gained through carrying out an assigned group project that will be
presented formally at the end of the semester. Continuing emphasis will
be placed on the issue of ethical practice and research in psychology.
