Ryan Hanley Award 2011 – Student Engineering Prize
The competition is intended for final year engineering undergraduates taking an accredited degree courses at third level institutions located within the EI West Region.
All candidates must be in full-time education.
The competition is designed to promote excellence in research, written submissions and presentation skills among undergraduates.
The topic of the undergraduate’s paper/presentation must be connected with an engineering disciplines.
Entrants must apply to enter the competition by filling in an
application form and submitting a brief summary of the proposed presentation (of not more than 600 words) by 23rd March 2011.
Applications will be short-listed to five finalists based on the resume of the presentation submitted with the application. The winner and second place runner-up of the
Ryan Hanley Award will proceed to represent their third level college in the Siemens Prize Finals in June 2011.
