Society of Wood Science and Technology 2010

Anthony McTigue has been awarded a Society of Wood Science and Technology (SWST) Student Travel Grant to attend the 53rd International Convention of the Society of Wood Science and Technology in Geneva, Switzerland on October 10th -15th 2010.

It was awarded for a paper entitled ‘A probabilistic approach to the simulation of non-linear relationships for oriented strandboard’.

Anthony is an IRCSET scholar and is carrying out PhD research on the characterisation of oriented strandboard under the supervision of Dr. Annette Harte.
