Bryan's primary research interests are: Effective stress behaviour of piles, ground improvement (including vibro-replacement stone columns and dry soil mixing), development of brownfield sites, soft soil behaviour, in-situ testing, tunnelling in soil and rock
and also geotechnical engineering education. He is sole supervisor for 5 PhD students and 1 MEngSc student and is involved in several other research projects. |
