MG206 Management of Organisational Change The objective of this course is to help you to recognise the range of choices that promote conditions for successful organisational change. Upon completion of this course you will be able to: Describe changes to industries and organisations; Summarise the change process; Identify sources of support and resistance to change and devise strategies to promote the change process; Develop a plan for change using a strategic approach and appropriate intervention; Describe different forms of intervention and the necessary requirements for successful implementation; Discuss methods of reviewing the progress of the change process and embedding change within the organisation; Apply concepts to your own experience and case studies; Demonstrate your ability to work in a team developing your team-working skills; Conduct case study research that will identify change issues in the current business environment.

CE445 Civil Engineering Infrastructure Design II Design of Concrete StructuresHistory of concrete in structures. Limit state design principles. Loading. Analysis of reinforced concrete sections in flexure. Shear. Bond. Deflection and cracking. Durability. Design of simple reinforced concrete slabs, beams and columns. Pad foundations. CE448 The Built Environment (Architecture & Planning) This module gives an introduction to architectural design, planning and management. This includes processes undertaken by practicing architects from concept to detail. Examples will be given to show how through creative thinking science and art can be merged to form innovative and novel solutions.
CE446 Advanced Project Management This module explores the Project Management Knowledge Areas identified in the PMBOK® and uses case studies to further develop and consolidate the students’ understanding of project management.

EC386 Public Economics This course uses economic analysis to examine the role of government in the economy. The class covers the traditional topics of equity and efficiency but also emphasizes more recent developments in information, public choice and political economy. By the end of this class you should have a solid understanding of some of the most important concepts and theories in public economics.
