Issues in Research Ethics was COBRA’s 2008 series of international conferences. It provided a relaxed forum for discussion of significant questions in ethics and bioethics, and facilitated community-building and discussion. There was an emphasis on more informal formats such as roundtable discussions and workshops.
The full conference programme is now available.
Please note that registration on Thursday, 16 October is in the Moore Institute Seminar Room from 4-5pm. Please allow enough time to register as we wish to keep to the scheduled 5pm start for the Opening Keynote Address. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Please fill in and return the
Registration form and e-mail to

The conference will be held mostly in the Moore Institute with some sessions taking place in the Siobhán McKenna theatre (in the Arts Millenium Building). Parking on Campus:
Parking in NUI Galway is limited to student and staff permit-holders. There are some Pay & Display parking spots (delineated by blue lines). Please see the
Parking Information page for further information (this has a link to a map of P&D spaces). As the campus is not far from the city centre, we recommend walking. If the weather is bad (!), you might prefer to avail of public transportation.
