Biography

Dr Alice Le Bonniec is a post-doctoral researcher whose expertise centres on cancer screening. Having completed a BSc and Master’s degree in psychology, Alice completed her PhD at the University Paul Valery, Montpellier (France) on the psychosocial determinants of colorectal cancer screening participation. Alice previously worked as a researcher with the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in France. She joined the Health Behaviour Change Research Group at NUIG in order to work on a project aiming to increase uptake of colorectal cancer screening by developing an innovative intervention co-designed with key stakeholders. This project is funded by the Irish Cancer Society for two years (2020 Social, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences Post-Doctoral Fellowship).
