Course Modules
BM202: Biomedical Seminars
Semester 2 | Credits: 5
In this module each supervisor is assigned a small group of students. The supervisor selects a broad topic with a subtopic for each student. Students individually research the topic, write an essay and present a short seminar on the topic.

Learning Outcomes
- Read and understand scientific papers
- Critically analyse data from scientific papers
- Synthesise the data from several papers
- Present the information researched in essay and oral presentation format
- Explain the findings to a student audience of their peers by oral presentation
- Write a scientific essay, citing sources correctly in the text and in the bibliography
