A study of the use of Classical themes and imagery in the visual arts since the Renaissance, directed at independent enquiry and the preparation of a research-driven presentation by each participating student

Learning Outcomes
- analyse and critique the visual languages of European painting since the Renaissance
- conduct independent specialist research on artworks using web-based resources
- create an independent research presentation in Powerpoint or a similar medium
- deliver such a presentation to a live audience
