Course Modules
FM4102: Creative Programming and Exploratory Computing
Semester 2 | Credits: 5
In this module, students are introduced to computer programming from a creative and exploratory approach. Students will learn how to create, modify, and manipulate still and moving image, sound, and text; develop interactive interfaces; and be introduced to physical computing for various creative outputs.

- Learn fundamentals of programming
- Use code as a creative medium of expression
- Critically reflect on process of production and reflexively engage with programming from an arts and humanities perspective
- Apply techniques of creative coding to project development
- Articulate intentions of creative process and display reflexive understanding of output
