GR241: German for Biotechnology II
Semester 1 and Semester 2 | Credits: 5
German for Second year Biotechnology students who completed Beginners German Biotechnology I or German Biotechnology 1. Students will complete German Level B1 as specified in the European Framework for Languages. They will further expand and consolidate their science and biotechnology terminology which is necessary for biotechnology students. They will acquire all 4 language skills specified for this level.
Learning Outcomes
- describe aspects of student life in detail in German
- discuss various science subjects in German
- use intermediate grammatical structures in German
- report on laboratory practicals and science projects in German
