HI549.I: European History, 1500-1800
Semester 1 | Credits: 5
This survey module will outline those movements and events that transformed Europe from medieval to modern. These include the Reformations and associated Wars of Religion-including the Thirty Years War-the rise of the modern state and European expansion overseas. The survey will encompass the periods from the Protestant Reformation to the French Revolution or, roughly, from 1500 to 1800.
