MV504: Old & Middle English
Semester 1 and Semester 2 | Credits: 10
This module introduces students to Old & Middle English as used primarily in England duuring the European Middle Ages. Students will gradually become acquainted with their grammar and vocabulary, and develop reading skills with the aim of acquiring enough knowledge to be able to access basic Old & Middle English texts in their original form. No previous knowledge of Old or Middle English is expected.
