This course is for students who have already done around three semesters of study in the Latin language, and have covered the essential grammar. The course will allow students to transition to reading original Latin texts. The choice of texts will depend on the level of the class and any particular subject interests.

  1. Read and confidently translate original Latin texts.
  2. Demonstrate a confident handling of Latin vocabulary, morphology and syntax.
