PM5107: Neuroscience

This module introduces students to the structure, organisation and function of the human nervous systems. In addition, it describes the process of neurotransmission as well as the physiology of pain, learning, apetite and sleep.

- Describe the structure and function of neurons and glial cells
- Differentiate between the various systems in the central and peripheral nervous systems
- Describe the physiology of pain, apetite, learning and sleep
