Course Modules
PS6151: Clinical Practice 5
15 months long | Credits: 10
This module involves a placement in a clinical setting working under the supervision of an appropriately qualified clinical psychologist. The placement is monitored and supported by the course team. Examination will be by continuous assessment in the form of an evaluation of the trainee’s clinical competence during the placement using the relevant placement evaluation forms.

Learning Outcomes
- Assess a range of presenting problems within a Clinical Psychology setting to a standard deemed satisfactory by their appointed Clinical Supervisor.
- Propose a psychological formulation for a range of presenting problems within a Clinical Psychology setting to a standard deemed satisfactory by their appointed Clinical Supervisor.
- Implement an intervention/treatment plan for a range of presenting problems within a Clinical Psychology setting to a standard deemed satisfactory by their appointed Clinical Supervisor.
- Evaluate and report on treatment and assessment outcomes for a range of presenting problems within a Clinical Psychology setting to a standard deemed satisfactory.
