Semester 1 and Semester 2 | Credits: 5

Research students will gain familiarity with aspects of the academic publishing process by producing a substantial piece of publishable writing. Outputs may include sole authored or collaboratively authored review essays, book chapters, or other lengthy scholarly works. In order to successfully complete this module, the output must be accepted for publication in an appropriate scholarly outlet. Please note: this is an independent study module that the research student completes under the supervision of one or more academic supervisors. The research student and supervisor(s) are responsible for developing a feasible workplan that will ensure the student has met the module's learning outcomes. A pass mark will be awarded by the instructor of record upon the research student’s timely submission of relevant documentation.
