TE140: Course Delivery
Semester 2 | Credits: 5
Focussed on effective facilitation of learning, the module addresses the establishment of a successful learning environment and explores training methods and techniques.

Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate broad, up-to-date, general knowledge and specialised knowledge of the range of training aids, methods of training, learning environments and quality assurance in training.
- Evaluate the various forms of delivery approaches including recent developments in this area.
- Select and apply advanced skills to implement training interventions which adhere to quality assurance guidelines of awarding bodies and/or other organisations.
- Apply a systematic approach to selecting and implementing training aids and delivery methods appropriate to a training intervention.
- Exercise autonomy and judgement in applying knowledge and skills in a wide range of contexts
- Manage and take professional responsibility for the complex training environment to ensure a motivational and collaborative learning environment exists for learners.
- Reflectively appraise the knowledge and skills that contribute to successful professional development, and use this knowledge and skill to strengthen individual ability to engage in relevant learning activities that will enhance communication skills and implementation techniques.
- Express professional commitment to the all stakeholders to ensure quality training interventions exist which meet relevant standard including those of awarding bodies.
