ISS manage 1523 desktops in 63 locations, broken into
General Access PC Suites and
Departmental PC Suites. In order to maintain the high level of service delivered to our user community ISS refresh the build on all 1552 desktops during the summer months.
During the summer months, ISS also completes the yearly hardware refresh on a number of PC Suites as per our hardware renewal cycle. This ensures the hardware available to our customers is current and fit for purpose.
The software profile available in the suites will be updated and details of the Core software profile available in all suites can be found
here. Additionally, a wide range of specialist software is also available in various suites. Please use the software search function to check the location of a particular application.
All PC Suite bookings for the academic year 2012/13 will be carried forward for the academic year 2013/14. If you wish to book a PC Suite for teaching purposes during the academic year 2013/14 please complete the
online booking form. Conversely, if you are aware of any obsolete PC Suite bookings, please let us know and the booking will be removed from the PC Suite, thereby enabling other academic colleagues to avail of the PC Suite for teaching purposes.
