Dropbox

Dropbox is a Web-based file hosting service operated by Dropbox, Inc. that uses cloud storage to enable users to store and share files and folders with others across the Internet using file synchronization.

Instruction for downloading and configuring Dropbox

1. To download Dropbox go to http://www.dropbox.com/
   
   
2. Select Download Dropbox
   
   
3. Select Install
   
   
   
4. Select I don’t have a Dropbox account and Select Next 
   
   
   
5. Enter your details and select Next 
   
   
   
6. Select whichever option you require and Select Next
   
   
   
7. Select Advanced and Select Next
   
   
   
8. Select where you want to Install Dropbox folder and Select Next
   
   
   
9. You can choose which folders you wish to sync with Dropbox and Select Next
   
   
   
10. You can Select Next to view tour or Select Skip tour
    
    
    
11. Select Finish
    
    
    
12. Go to the icon option on the bottom right hand corner of your PC and look for the DropBox icon. 
    Right click on the icon and select Preference
    
    
    
13. Go to the Proxies tab and type in as below.
    Ensure you pick  No proxy button.
    Select Apply and OK.
