Configure Entourage 2008 for non-migrated users

1. Open Entourage
   
   
2. From the Tools menu chose Accounts  
   
   
   
3. The Accounts dialog box will open.  Click on the New button and select Exchange  
   
   
   
4. Enter your email address in the text box provided.  Ensure the My account is on an Exchange server is ticked.  Click on the Configure Account Manually button  
   
   
   
5. Enter your account information in the Edit Account window.  Your account id is your staff id with an “S” at the end (e.g. 0088888s).  The Domain is acdomain.  If you do not wish to be prompted for your password on starting up Entourage, enter your password in the text box provided and ensure the Save password in my Mac OS Keychain is ticked.  
   
   
   
   
6. Click on the Advanced option and enter the following settings:
   Exchange Server is evs1.ac.nuigalway.ie
   Ensure the This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) is ticked
   Ensure the This server requires me to log on is unticked   
    
   
   
7. Click OK

You should now see your University Exchange account listed in the right hand mailbox column of Entourage.  Depending on the size of your Entourage folders it may take some time to synchronize your email.
