Students can receive 12 months free access to the Microsoft Windows Store and Phone Dev. Centre simply by activating their Dreamspark.com account.  This is an easy way to verify your student status.

How do I activate my DreamSpark account?

Steps to follow

1. Login to the NUI Galway DreamSpark website at: http://nuigalway.onthehub.com/
2. From the Students tab, select DreamSpark.
   
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select ’DreamSpark.com activation code to get free access to Microsoft Windows Store’, this is listed under the Microsoft Corporation- DreamSpark heading. 
4. To receive your activation code, click ’Add to Cart’.
5. Proceed to ’Check out’.
6. Enter your credentials, using your NUI Galway email address, then ’Proceed with Order’.
7. Take note of your activation code, and select ’Post-order instructions’.
8. Follow the relevant link to create your Dreamspark.com account.  The activation code provided is used to verify your student status.
