Phone Handset (Landline) Purchase Information

Departments/units purchase new phone handsets for their group; there is no central purchase of phone handsets in NUI Galway.

What type of phone handset should I purchase?
The majority of phone handsets currently in use in the University are analog models.

If purchasing/upgrading to a digital handset, note that Nortel models are compatible with the current telephone exchange at NUI Galway.
