Irish Development Policy
- In September 2006, the Irish Government launched their first ever White Paper on development. The White Paper is the blueprint for Ireland's development policy and sets out how the Irish government will spend their increased overseas aid budget in the coming years.

- Dochas have recently completed an analysis of
Trends in Irish Aid Expenditure from 1995 to 2005. The analsyis shows that Irish Aid is a very good donor, with funding matching its declared priorities of health, education, HIV & AIDS and civil society. In light of discussions about the levels of required Irish Aid capacity, it is interesting to note that - at 4% - Irish Aid's overheads are at the OECD average
