The Arts Faculty in NUIG offers diploma and postgraduate courses in Community Development, Culture and Colonialism and Gender, Globalisation and Rights. The Faculty of Law and Irish Centre for Human Rights offers courses in International Human Rights, International Criminal Law and International Peace Support Operations.

University College Dublin – School of Politics and International Relations.
As well as providing a Higher Diploma and an MSc in Development Studies, this school also runs postgraduate courses on Human Rights, International Relations, Nationalism and Ethno-Communal Conflict.

DCU offers postgraduate courses in Development, International Relations, Globalisation, International Organisations and International Security and Conflict Studies.

The Kimmage Development Studies Centre offers both a postgraduate Diploma and an MA in Development Studies.

School of Oriental and African Studies, London
SOAS offers a wide variety of development related postgraduate courses. Some examples include a general MSc in Development Studies, a Development Studies MSc with reference to Central Asia, or a Development Studies MSc focusing on Violence and Conflict, or State and Society. SOAS also offers an MSc in Economics with special reference to Africa, South Asia, Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. Other related courses include MA in African Studies, MA in Law, Development and Globalisation, MA in Human Rights Law, MA in International Studies and Diplomacy.
