Development education and the related fields of global education, global learning, global citizenship and education for sustainable development have grown significantly across Europe over the past decade. Much emphasis has been given to development education’s contribution to building support for development. However with the emergence of a growing network of academics and researchers, there is a recognition of the need move beyond measuring impact in terms of government or NGO agendas, and towards the importance of learning in itself.
Conference Aims
Target Audience: This conference brought together academics, policymakers and practitioners interested in development education, global education, global citizenship and education for sustainable development.
