Denise Keaveney is the Assistive Technology Officer, and she provides a range of support for users registered with the Disability Support Service:
- Training and on-going support in the use of assistive technology applications is available to all of our students.
- Daily assistive technology appointments are available to students that require training or assistance
- Group training sessions are provided throughout the academic year

Students have access to a range of software and hardware devices depending on their needs:
Read & Write Gold 
Provides literacy support to assist students with reading and writing.
- Improves reading fluency
- Text-to-speech function will read documents back to you
- Word prediction and phonetic spell checker improves accuracy

Dragon Naturally Speaking
Voice recognition software. Allows you to:
- Train the PC to recognise your voice
- Dictate essays and documents onto your PC instead of typing
- Use your voice to manage a PC

Echo Smartpen 
Records audio and written material.
- Record everything you write, hear or say
- Replay your lectures by tapping on your notes
- Transfer your notes and audio to your PC

Digital Recorder
Provides high quality digital recording.
- Replay your lectures in MP3 or WMA format
- Transfer your audio files to your PC or laptop
