Ronan Cunningham, final year mechanical engineering student

Ronan Cunningham received the Unidare Prize, hosted by the Institute of Engineers in Ireland, for best undergraduate engineering project in Ireland, entitled "Thermomechanical Analysis of Medical Catheters". His project also won the Irish division of the IMechE Queen's Jubilee competition for the best mechanical engineering project in Britain and Ireland. He went on to take a Master's at MIT, worked in the aerospace industry with Boeing in Seattle for several years, and then cofounded ATA Engineering in San Diego, CA, a mechanical engineering consulting firm serving the aerospace industry.
