Mechanical Engineering Research

The Discipline is internationally recognised for research excellence in several fields of mechanical engineering. Currently, there are more than 30 post graduate students, including Masters, PhD and post-doctoral researchers. In the past year, we have published 26 peer-reviewed journal articles, with a similar number of international conference presentations and publications and attracted approximately €1m in research funding from state agencies, industry and other sources (e.g. EU).
