Faculty-led Summer Study Abroad Programmes

NUI Galway has been a base for successful faculty-led study abroad programmes since the early 1990s, providing a unique opportunity for immersion into the academic and cultural life of our 165-year-old University.

NUI Galway offers modern, state-of-the-art facilities and, with close proximity to vibrant Galway city centre and many of Ireland’s most famous tourist attractions, it provides students with an inspirational learning environment and an overall enriching student experience.

‌Full access to campus facilities, from accommodation to the James Hardiman Library, is provided on a booked basis for visiting university groups.

Faculty Led Study Abroad Group

Visiting groups are usually accompanied and taught by home Faculty. However, there is also the option of booking NUI Galway Faculty to teach a number of classes.
