Important Notes

  1. Does not include Ph.D. or M.D. Degree
  2. Candidates must be registered at the time of submission of the softbound thesis.
  3. Supervisors are advised that internal and external examiners are expected to be approved by College Office prior to submission of softbound thesis.
  4. Candidates are advised that the joint examiners report is required by the specified deadline in order to progress to conferring. The joint examiners report is submitted directly to the Examinations Office by the internal examiner. 
  5. Following receipt of the joint examiners report by the required deadline, only candidates who have submitted the required hardbound thesis and with no fees outstanding can proceed to conferring.
  6. Students wishing to confer must have submitted their corrected hardbound thesis and Library Form (EOG 052) by the submission deadline outlined on the Academic Records and Registration: Conferring website.

Taught Masters

Students are advised to contact their School/Discipline about local procedures for the submission of a Taught Masters thesis.

Note: Following submission of thesis softbound to the Student Information Desk (SID), it will be received by examiners within 10 working days. It is recommended that examiners have 6 weeks to review the thesis prior to the viva.
