Appeal Deadlines

The deadlines for submitting Appeals for the academic year 2010-11 are closed.   Late applications will not be accepted.

* Please note: These are the last date appeals can be accepted by the Examinations Office.  Appeal applications submitted after these dates cannot be considered.

Examination Results can only be appealed after the full official transcript of results has been issued (see dates above).  Students must avail of the Consultation Day to discuss their results.

Procedure to appeal an Exam

^{Students cannot submit an appeal unless they have already EITHER gained informal feedback on their performance from their lecturer or discipline OR received the results of a formal recheck.}

Examination Results can only be appealed under certain criteria. Please read the following document before submitting an appeal. 

Students appealing results : 

Please Note : Every attempt is taken to process appeals of those students scheduled to take Autumn Examinations, however this is not always possible. Students in all cases, should assume they are required to prepare themselves for their Autumn Examinations.

Please attach a copy of your exam transcript with your appeal or recheck.

Please Note:

Semesterised results issued in January for Arts and Commerce will not be eligible for appeal/ recheck until official full record of results are received following Semester II examinations.

Appeals submission Checklist

1. Ensure you have completed the appeals form completely
2. Ensure  you have ticked the appropriate  "Ground for Appeal" section
3. Ensure you have included all supporting documentation such as your appeal letter and any supporting documentation e.g. medical   evidence
4. Copy of your exam transcript
5. Appeal fee

Examination Appeal applications will not be processed if the required documents 1 to 5 above are not included in your application.
